5.4 Triton V8 Engine Noise during Sharp Right Turn
I'm hoping one of y'all can help me diagnose my issue.
Truck: 2005 Ford F-150 5.4L Triton V8 XLT 4wd
Mileage: 113k
When taking a low speed right hand turn, accelerating slightly and putting the engine under load seems to cause some sort of engine noise/grind/knock. It's hard to describe the sound, however, the engine does seem to be bogged down during this. If I left off the gas and straighten out, the noise/grind/knock goes away. While cruising the engine doesn't miss a beat, even at 90mph. This is only characteristic when taking a low speed, sharp right turn with the 4wd turned off.
Have any of you had this issue or know what it could be? I'm unable to replicate it on command.
