Default Help with 2001 King Ranch - Misfire issue?

Hi folks - bear with me here while I attempt to give some history to a problem I have with my 2001 King Ranch. in 2013 (aug/sep timeframe), I took it to the dealer to have the intake gaskets replaced. at that time, they also cleaned the injectors...I walked out of there $1500 bucks lighter in the wallet...

Ok, fast forward to July 14 - since the initial repair, the truck ran perfectly...then it started the "misfire issue" again. now what I mean is that the truck started "chugging and missing and jerking" thru all speeds - from acceleration to highway speeds. the truck seems to do have this issue severely from 55mph to 70mph, althou its noticeable at all speeds...

Here is the weird part...its an intermittent problem - and it was back in 2013 too...it will run fine for a long time (days/weeks/months) then BAM!! it will misfire - and continue to do so...then without warning, it will run normal...

The truck is used very seldom - since the 2013 repair, I'm betting there has not been 5-6K put on the truck...

I keep thinking "injectors" but wouldn't that be a consistent problem and not intermittent? this "on again, off again misfire" is driving me nuts...

I could use some input on the what the issue is...the last codes we read in 2013 AND in July was "P0308 Cylinder no. 8 misfire detected" - that's the ONLY reading we get when the "check engine light" is lit...

Help!!...no, really,,,,,HELP!!!
