Default 01 f150 intake coolant leak

Ok I've been doing some research on this intake coolant leak, since mine just started leaking. My question is is it more cost effective to have a garage do it, or myself since I went to college for this stuff. Local Ford dealership said 1500, 2 other local garages said 875 & 650, myself probably 200. My other question is which intake is better the ATP or the dorman. Any info would be appreciated

Thanks for the reply, question how's the quality of the dorman, was there any surprises that popped up. I think I'm goin to tackle this myself, just gotta line up a few things first.
