Default '95 f150 bed shakes, info?

I just bought a '95 302, i changed oil, replaced belt, still in process of other replacements, but i cant figure out why my bed shakes when i am going around 60mph. It only shakes for about a second but it doesnt sound too good. Could it be differential? Please help.

thats funny, crickets......Mine does it too. I have an out of balance tire in the back of my 04. I ordered the tires off ebay and one of them took about 7oz of weight to balance it out. still makes the bed hopp at 60. you say it only does it for a second though? I would look at frozen u joints or out of balance drive shaft first. Ive seen sticky brakes and a warped drum or rotor do it too. Could be torque converter lockup too. try it with the OD turned off and see if it still does it. if it dosent, theres your anwser. those older trannys were notorious for shuttering when the converter locks up in OD. Lucas transmission fix will help that out. throw a bottle in if thats your problem
