97 4.6 missing out and chirp noise
Just want to share my findings in case someone else has this issue. A couple of days ago I noticed my truck had lost some power while driving on the highway, when I came to a stop light it had an obvious miss with a low idle and a bit of a shake while accelerating. When I got home and opened the hood I could hear a chirp sound that was conducive with engine speed.
Since I just got the truck about a month ago and had no idea of when the plugs were changed last I decided to replace plugs and wires first. Well, I found that #6 spark plug was loose! Problem fixed, she's running great again.
