I have a 1998 XL 4.2 5 speed. The truck has a rough idle and sometimes shuts off, but as soon as I get up to speed everything is normal. I'm thinking a sensor. I know I have 4 O2 sensors, but I'm not sure if this is the issue.

Anyone have any suggestions??

ok i got a 97 with the same problem and here is what ive found out on mine so far..... intermittent miss fire on cyl. #3 that not the biggy what is causing my rough idle and dies but as speed runs perfect my problem is i did a compression test and one of my cyl. has only 30 lbs on it where the rest have around 165 lbs if i were you i would do a compression test on all cyl
