How many miles on your 4.2

The only things I want to do to the truck is replace the wheels and add a sliding glass back window. I'm just going to pick up a used set of OEM aluminum wheels. Something cheap from someone who needs to get rid of them after they went with something aftermarket.
Does anyone know of a vendor that sells a good sliding glass back window?

A friend of mine has 260k on his. No real repairs. Just a plug change at 150k or so. Trans has never even been serviced. It burns a quart of oil every 1000 miles and idles rough but keeps on ticking. I think it's a 2000 model regular cab sport XL.

99 Ford F150 with 266,000 miles on it. Purrs like a kitten but the code P0171 comes on all the time. Replaced the MAF and it was fixed for awhile now code back. Found hole in Crankcase vent hose. Hoping it will fix it this time. Otherwise, I am the original owner and I love my F150.

2003 regular cab, short bed, 5 speed manual 4.2L, 2wd...205k and still going, and still getting 18/22mpgs
Repairs since 45k:
slave cylinder done under warranty at 50k.
Alternator needed the little copper contact replaced at 150k
U-joints replaced at 175k
IAC replaced at 195k
Original clutch
Hit a deer at 60mph a few years ago. replaced windshield, antenna, and front right fender
was T-boned at 30mph last Oct. that ruined a wheel and twisted the bed a little.
slid off a wet road at 60mph and went backward over 3 concreted corner-posts. had to replace the rear bumper.
It has now been promoted to "farm-truck" and is being babied around the farm by my Father. Hopefully my new 2016 can withstand the miles and smiles that my '03 did.
