"Sway Control" is under the "Settings" menu then "Driver Control". Yep. mine was set to on. We will see if I get better mileage now. Would be nice if they had that setting under Towing instead so you can turn it on & off easily. When you tow, syou have to do three things: set the trailer settings, push the tow/haul button and set the sway control. The manual does a poor job of explaining it.

After 4 months of driving my 12 SCREW RWD 3.7 and tracking my millage with a phone app, my overall average is 20.64 mpg with a max of 22.78 mpg. I drive mostly freeway and stay within 5 mph of the speed limit most of the time and try to not get into the throttle too much unless I have to. my average cost to drive is 18 cents a mile, just 1 cent more than my 08 Jetta cost me, pretty sure I made the right choice trading that in for my F150!

I average right around the 20 mpg mark sometimes a little higher that's mainly driving back roads with some city and highway thrown in. The best I ever got was when I went to the beach I got 24.6 mpg. My truck is a 2014 4x4 super cab with a 3.73 rear end.

i have a 2011 XLT SCREW with the 3.7 and back and forth to work I get about 16.5 MPG, But that is only about a mile to mile and a half each way the truck barely gets warm. Out on the highway at 70-75 I get close to 20 and on the blacktop cruise set at 55 last trip was over 24 MPG. This is my first non V8 truck and it has plenty of power for my use, and lots more than my '05 4.6L F150.

Default Trailer Sway defaults to ON after power off then on?

Why does my 2013 XLT default back to Trailer sway ON after each engine start? I Go to settings and turn Trailer Sway off. After shutting engine off then starting it again it defaults Back to Trailer Sway ON. How do I make it stay in the OFF mode to help gas mileage?
