2012 f150 lariat SCrew EB with a click
Hey all. Thanks in advance for any help.
This is two separate issues I've been having. Truck is a 2012 with 13k on it. A bit ago I noticed a clicking noise while my window was open, it sounded like it was coming from the rear. When ever I put the truck in reverse and hit the gas it would like a click/pop sound. Following that if I put it in drive and hit the accelerator it would click once or a few times.
The trans was also having a hesitation issue going into 4th that began getting worse.
Brought the truck to the dealer explained both issues. They tightened a bolt on the driveshaft yoke and did a computer update for the trans which they did say they had a service alert for.
Truck was great I was happy. However the truck made it maybe 2 weeks before the clicking came back and worse and now after a month the trans has begun doing the same exact thing it was doing in the past.
Could anybody explain what the issues could be and if it's just a service issue that needs to be fine tuned or am I heading down a road to problems.
Thanks again!!
