Premium fuel with stock 3.5 eco
Is there any benefit to running premium fuel on a stock eco? I have a company gas card and they don't care, I don't pay for fuel.
I know that some modern motors can sense octane levels and adjust accordingly, does the EB do something similar?

Yes it can accommodate for the octane increase. The manual recommends high octane for heavy duty cycles such as towing or high heat.
I run 93 in my untuned truck and it does appear to be a bit happier on it but is it worth it? I'd say no. I've ran it exclusively for about 13 months. Just peace of mind for me as I like to romp on the truck. I haven't noticed a mileage increase and I track every mile via Fuelly.com. It does appear to hold 6th gear while cruising on the interstate as opposed to dropping a gear to accelerate. I have been told (nothing to confirm this) that 93 octane could contain less levels of ethanol too.
Again. It's your truck and it won't hurt it. If there are any benefits they are minimal.
