Default High mileage ecoboost?

Does anyone out there have a high mileage ecoboost? One of our work trucks is a 2011 ecoboost lariat with 120K on it, which isn't a whole lot. I am wondering if we should start thinking trade in or if people are having good luck with the engine with more miles. The truck still runs great, but the truck is used pretty hard, pulling 10-12K trailers and a lot of city driving, he doesn't keep up on oil changes very good either, once every 10-15K miles on conventional oil. The only thing that we have done to the truck were plugs at 70K, tires and brakes.

From you maintenance description sounds like you better trade that pig in. There are a lot of Ecoboost with 150+k miles but they were taken care of

I've got 153k on mine, but I change oil every 10K and use Amsoil. I rotate tires every oil change, have changed plugs 3 times, and the air filter every other oil change. Taking it in to get oil/filter flush/change in tranny, and the oil changed in the diffs and transfer case. I believe if you take care of it, it should last another 200k. I had a 2002 exploder that I traded in on this truck that had 286k miles on it. I took care of it also.

Approaching 148K on mine. Starting to make some noise at low speeds and light acceleration. But in general, it's been really good. That being said, most of my driving is highway, and I don't tow or haul.

Default Update

I've now got 298,675 on my 2012 Screw. Still a daily driver, and not afraid to tow or take long trips. It's been a good truck. I've changed oil in all the diffs twice, the tranny 3 times (filter each time) and the engine still at every 10k miles (except when I've been towing more miles than regular and then the oil minder alerts me to change quicker). I'd buy another one if they weren't so dang expensive right now.

Well , I have a 13 Platinum, 3.5 eco-boost that made it to 180K. Then 2 weeks ago something seized or came apart like a piston skirt or rings or something..... ! ! ! I have taken care of this whip, oil changes @ 5k or less, ect...ect...
My advice is dump it, get a V8 and don't look back.
