ELD is locking on its own
Sometimes when I start the truck, the ELD is locked (usually noticed as I chirp the tires around the parking lot).
I pull the **** out and push it back in, it unlocks for a few seconds and locks back up. The only way I can get it to go off and stay off is to find a straight stretch and get it above 20mph with the **** in and it stays off.
Clearly, I need to take it in, but I'd like to know if anyone has seen this problem before and go in armed. It's intermittent enough that I fear that Ford will have trouble finding the issue (although the problem is increasing in frequency).
Any info would be appreciated.
