Ford first timer.
Completely stock 2013 Eco with the 3.73 rear end and I can drive 110km/h highway and EASILY make 9.6-10L/100km all day.
Lift it = wrecking the factory aerodynamics for air movement under the truck (creates a vacuum and turbulence)
Larger tires = more rotational weight and resistance dropping off mileage HUGE.
Knobby tires = more rolling resistance/more friction and worse mileage.
Its just a trade off is all, the lifted trucks do look great !

I turn my own wrenches
I get 16mpg average and 17.5 if I drive like a granny in the city... Winter I get 15mpg. What is amazing is that in 4x4 mode my fuel economy only increases 1mpg where in my GMC Sierra 1500 5.3l 4x4 mode got me 10mpg. No other truck I know gets great fuel Econ in 4x4 mode like our Eco's do.
I also find that driving style accounts for around 30% of your fuel economy variance. Drive like you stole it means you get crappy fuel economy. Like Ms. Daisy means best fuel economy.
So that that into consideration.

2012 SCREW Eco with 3.73 FX4 + MAXTOW.

Another's tradesman has put on big tires as well, the only mod he did, and instantly went to 19L/100k. Which is terrible to state the obvious.

yes - but I can directly relate to both mileage ratings. From Winnipeg to grand forks round trip it's like 450km, our average was 12.7L/100 without trying. Then I get back to work mode, putt around town a bit and next tank average is closer to 15.5/16

14.0 L/100km highway (120 kph highway speed usually) and 14.7 city average with a 2" level kit and 34" Toyo AT/II tires. Not babying it at all either. 21 L/100km is terrible! That's what I get while towing! Check your spark plug gap. I got about 0.4 L/100km better mileage and a whole lot of lost power by re-gapping mine.

2013 screw fx4 EB. 3.55 rear end. 15L/100 km average. I do mostly city driving though. On the highway at 90km/hr I can get 10L/100km. If I go 120km hr I am closer to 13L/100km.
