Default Ecoboost 5 Star Hesitation

Hi all,

I recently got a 87-perf\tow tune from 5 star and am having some issues I am hoping someone smarter then me about this stuff can help with... When the engine is cold, I notice a significant hesitation when accelerating between 2000-3000 rpm... It seems to go away when the engine is up to temp but this just started a couple days ago... I email Mike already but just wondering on your guys thoughts... datalog attached...

I have
2013 F-150 FX4, 3.73 w/ 54,000km

Mike sent me a new tune to try within an hour. Tried it with little success.

Ended up getting an over boost CEL the other day so I cleaned all my Map sensors and replaced plugs. Didn't try to push a code but still has the cold engine hesitation at partial throttle between 2000-3500rpm...

You ever get this figured out? I've never had that issue with my 5 star tunes

Ran stock for a couple months and ended up with a P012D code. Ford changed a MAP sensor so I ran stock for another week and now just installed the 89 perf tow tune. We will see if that sensor was part of the issue.

My cousin has a 2014 Super Crew FX2 with the Ecoboost and he and I have done alot of work to his truck and I will say that it runs like a scalded ape. He has spent alot of time and money on tunes and he has bought tunes from just about every ecoboost tuner that is fairly well known and hands down the best tune and customer service/support is from "Unleashedtuning.com" Just wanted to throw that out there

Finally decided to give Mike another crack at it with no success. Still stumbles during cold engine acceleration.

Went to Torrie at Unleashed and going to try tomorrow.

Drill the weep hole in your CAC asap. You are suffering from water in the CAC.
