I really like the truck. Mostly upset with the inability of Ford to service it.

Thanks, I'm going to pursue it slowly but I really think it was a rip-off. The plugs returned to me were either altered or are not the plugs that came out of the truck. I have the paperwork with my original complaint that it was running rough/missing on cold-start-high-idle and 1.5 second delay on throttle response...after that, throttle response was excellent. The mechanic said it was missing badly on all cylinders and the plugs were way out of gap. I say BS. Plugs can't go from .030 to .080 in 2000 miles. To illustrate how bad things with Ford must be...one dealer actually told me to get a tuner to get rid of the problems and offered to sell me an SCT. If SCT can get the engine running correctly, why can't Ford? BTW I use either mid-grade or premium and full synthetic changed every 5000 miles.

In that same situation do you ever hear clicking/popping sounds from the engine area?

No, I do hear a moaning coming from under the cab when its cold though, keep expecting a loud POP at some time as whatever is making that noise finally gives. Funny thing is, it used to start about 2 miles into the drive, and now starts 5 miles into the drive. Hoping that I can get it to make the noise next time its in for service.

same eco boost problem !!!!!
sucker for punishment I guess but I love this engine ! Heres my story , Owned a 2011,2013 and now a 2015 F150 Lariot FX4 3.5L , go to pass a vehicle today ,get up beside the car and the engine falls flat on its face.Back out of throttle and pull over to curb , engine is shaking and check engine light is flashing ! Has happened to every one of these vehicles I have owned, codes were multiple cylinder misfire , you guessed it probably gulped in some more water from the intercooler .....Why hasn't Ford addressed this issue its been 4 yrs . I know of some fellas who are drilling a hole in the intercooler and installing a drain plug !! Getting up to half a cup of water at times !! Love this engine , just not confident with it ! What do you think fellas and Ladies

I was getting 13 on the Eco, getting 18-19 on the 6.7. Even though it was more expensive than replacing it with another F-150, I calculate that if diesel gets to be no more than 50 cents a gallon more than gas, I will break even over 5 years. If diesel stays less than 50 cents a gallon more than gas, I come out ahead.
And this does not include that I get free service for 60/100. That's 20 oil changes at $150 each that I don't have to pay for.
