Dont waste your money, they are not worth it. Neither are E3. To get the added benefit of Splitfire or E3, you need a hotter ignition system, like MSD multifire, our stock coils wont have the amps needed to light the plug up as designed.

A good standard plug will work much better on these engines than the "advanced" plugs.

Default plugs

Just changed plugs on my 2011 (57,000 miles) all were over .045 gap when I removed them. Put the new ones in at .030 idle smoothed out seems to accelerate better will run a tank or 2 thru and see what mileage is like. Mine failed a cam phaser at 30,000 miles (no not an oil issue ALWAYS use Motorcraft full syn from dealer.) water in the inner cooler has given me trouble as has the stretch-to-fit A/C belt, dealer can't seem to do it right so I did myself and problem seems to have gone away. Would I buy another? jury still out but don't like to new body style changes so probably not.

Dealers had my Boost for a week now (4th- 5th return visit?..not sure)
Love the truck, and the more I look at the new body style, I too think the pre 15's are way more appealing.
I've only got like 23k on my truck, and asked the service tech to check the plugs. No go. So when I get it back I will pull them and see where the gaps are at.

Guess this is one of those times it's good to be a "one-percenter!"

Well finally got around to applying the tune tonight and fudged my undies(almost). No sooner than it started to update the flash there was a loud POP and everything went dark. OH S**T, but then I noticed the tuner was still programming, then the lights came back on, radio was one, then another loud POP, and I found out it was the amp making the noise. Apparently everything resets power wise when updating the flash.

WHEW, will see how well this tune does tomorrow, have 60 miles for it to do its learning.

I have a 2011 Ecoboost with 35,000 miles on it and still love it. The thing has a ton of power and i've had only minor issues like the windows having to be reprogrammed. I've added Flowmasters 40 series to it and I'm about to do a 2 inch leveling kit so I can add custom rims and bigger tires. Would buy one again in a heartbeat.

Really like my '11 FX4. Dealer did the latest re-flash and I changed the plugs recently at 30,000. Had terrible lag in throttle response but a couple of gentlemen on this site gave me the throttle calibration instructions. Easy and worked. Running great now. Yeah, I'd buy another.

OK, I have had 3 dys with my 5* tune, 91 Octane Perf/tow and power is there from the start, MPG is better, and overall running good...EXCEPT for one thing, in 6th lockup, going up a slight grade I feel like its misfiring. No codes, but a definite seat of the pants bucking. Going to get a new set of plugs(only 9800 on these), gap them to .030 and see what happens. If it clears up, great, if not, return to stock and see if I can detect it. Since I had a #5 misfire a while back, it is possible #5 coil is weak.

Other than this, it really is a strong pulling motor, and a tune really improves upon it. It's my 5th 3.5 Ecoboost vehicle, and the other 4 were very good runners, but this one with the tune beats them all.
