3.5 EB Payload or not?
Hi all from Alberta. New to the forums...always been a Chevy owner (boooo) ya ya ya
I kinda fell for my neighbors F150 - he has the 6.2L but I am kinda honing in on the 3.5l turbo's.
Anyways, I'm selling the old 2500HD and considering the f150 xlt xtr or the fx4 supercab (4x4 of course). The torque on that little engine is amazing really, I don't haul a lot in the box anymore...usually just trailers..waaay under 10K.
My question is about the difference between the 'regular' 3.5L and the 3.5L with the Payload Pkg.
How do I tell the difference (because the dam dealer doesn't know) ?
Also, IS there a difference really...the specs say they are the same but I haven't found any literature to tell me what's up with these two little engines that can.
Thanks!

When you say regular 3.5 are you asking about the normally aspirated not turbo 3.5 or are you just asking about the 3.5 tt non hdpp? The hdpp adds 3.73 gears and if crew cab only comes with the 6.5 bed.
