I have a 2011 Ford F1 50 eco-boost with 80,000 miles. I have been getting the timing chain rattle noise on first startup of the day approximately 2 to 3 times a week. I have decided it is time to fix the problem before anything more serious arises. Does anyone have a parts list of what needs to be replaced while you are in there?
Anything I need to be aware of before I start the repair?
Will this help the slight miss at Idle?
Any advice or information would be greatly appreciated

call the ford 800#. It's a well known issue. It's very likely ford will work something out with you.

2012 EB with 86k miles and I have also been getting the noise on startup for a while now, and its getting worse… My mechanic told me its around a $2k fix
