Default Need advice on lifting a 2 wd, replacing the bumper and hitch.

I know little about lifting a vehicle. I saw a 2 WD that was lifted 2" and it had taller, wider tires and looked cool. I would like the look but know that if it isn't done right other mechanical things are stressed. I don't hotrod or offroad so what's the best way to do it? Or should I??? My young neighbor is always tearing his tow trucks apart and rebuilding them so I think he can follow your instructions.
Also, I want to replace the back bumper and have a good, solid receiver hitch added. Can you guys give me advice in that area too?

depends on how much you want to lift your truck. i have a stock 07 F150 2wd and i leveled mine 3" in the front and 2" in the rear and i am running 305/ 70R 17 nitto Terra Grapplers. I Dont really off road my truck unless i am in the field hunting or checking feeders. I got my kit from hammerhead 4x4 on ebay
