Default You guys want a picture step by step on rebuild.....

Hey just wondering if you guys want or need a guide on how to overhaul 302 engine? I am going to be doing a rebuild of the bottom end here soon and I didn't want to waste time and effort having a buddy take pics if we don't need that sort of thing here..... Let me know....

Always like pics. Can always use more references as well. I will be doing one also as soon as I move some **** out of my garage. Mine will be more of a body rebuilding with tips and what not though.

Having no clue how to do it I would love a guide. Not that I need to do it right now (knock on wood) but for future reference I am sure you could point people to it for other things.

OK. Will do. I will start around the 10th when a buddy of mine gets back in town and will trade me an engine hoist for one of my rifle scopes. I will start a new thread. Thanks.

I figured that could be useful. Sometimes a Haynes manual just isn't detailed enough for those who haven't done it before. This is my first 302 rebuild, but I've been involved in other engines. I'm expecting it to go pretty smooth and I plan to be very detailed and get some good pics.

By the way....My truck is a 1985 F150 302 FI engine. It is nearly identical to the 87-96 302's with only minor, minor differences. The rebuild will be the same for your 87-96 302.
