Default Wher is the fuel pump relay, on a 1992 f150, 5 speed manual 300 staight 5

I have a 1992 f150 4x4 5 speed manual 300 straight 6. And I'm having problems with my fuel system.
I bought a new computer, new fuel pump, new ignition switch. And the only way it will start and stay running is to jump wire the tank switch and to keep the key turned on to starting position. The kill switch is good and not tripped. We have a book for it and it says the fuel relay switch is in the fuse box under the hood. But the one that the auto shop gave me does not go there. It is the same black square box relay but it has side walls that extends down as where the ones in the fuse box has none. We checked behind the air filter unit, is not there. Under the dash is not there. I heard it may be above the radio. Does any body have a clue to where it might be??

Thank you for the reply. We have checked that one. It is good I think.
My vin# is 1FTEF14Y8NPBO0296. I heard I have two of them. I have dual
tanks. I'm trying to find the 2nd one. We change the fuses around with no
positive results. If you need more info please ask what you need and I will
get it for you.

Again thank you for the response.

Two fuel pump relays one for the on only position and one for the cranking position. This is what I was told, plus the auto parts store gave me one that does not go into the fuse box. They are flush all around square meaning the one the auto shop gave me has walls on the side of the connectors. The ones in the fuse box do not. Plain Jane square. We switched relays and there are no change. The wires under the fuse box all look good.

If you need more info please let me know.

Tank You....

Just one relay. They probably gave you the wrong one, or you're not pushing hard enough.

OK. The book is saying one also. But as far pushing hard enough I think we are. It starts when cranking the starter. But when letting it up it stops running. And when we start the starter again it starts and stays running as long as the starter is engaged.
We switched relay with another one and it does the same thing.

Have any ideas??

Thank you for the info.

The FP relay circuit run's through the PCM relay. Check PCM circuit fuse & relay.

Also make sure the ignition switch is adjusted right or isn't bad.
