Need help young and dumb!!!
I have a 1987 f-150 xlt with a 300 six and a 4 gear manual i just bought and need some good advice on common problems and sites to buy cheap parts and maybe some mentoring in the repair stages.

But for AnotherTruckOwner, my best advice is get a Haynes manual. It'll teach you how to trouble shoot what to look for and how too's on about everything. Your cheapest parts are at junkyards. Plus its fun as hell tearin trucks apart and not have to put them back together. Where are you at in MN? Try u pull r parts their in East Bethel and Rosemont.

Thnx for the advice guys sry its taken me so long to get back had to help my buddie change his head gaskets on his car i live about 20 miles north of hinkely if you know where that is.

a lot of small parts i like to get out of the junk yard i can get from LMC for the same price but i buy it from them cause i usually want it right then
