Windows won't roll down, door locks dont work?
I got a 96 with a 302 and the windows will not roll down and door locks wont work, they are electric. They used to work fine then slowly stopped working, I would have to open the door all the way for them to work, then i grabbed the tube where the wires run through between the door and cab and wiggled it...now the windows and door locks dont work at all! when I open tthe passenger door the light on the door lights up, but when i open the drivers door the light doesnt come on and they are both new lights, the driver side light used to be the signal for me when i was able to use the windows and locks...ie light on-windows and locks work-light off- windows and locks dont work. So what could the problem be?

The wires between the door and the body have chaffed through. Pull the rubber boot from the body and push it inside the door. Check them out. Could be a loose connection in the door itself but I am betting broken wires in the rubber boot.
