Thanks man.
Dad and brother's installed my fuel pump and polished my headlights. Unfortunetly I can't do much until Tuesday since I hurt myself pretty good.

Are you going to paint a moonshine jar on the tailgate or on the side of the truck? That's the OG White Lightnin' lol

I got to hand it to you kid, you're doing great and your perseverence is off the charts. I applaud you for all you're doing and what you're learning during the process.
Keep up the progress and don't stop until you accomplish everything you have set out to accomplish.

I'll admit, when I first started reading this thread I thought i was wasting my time and getting a quick chuckle. But its like a train wreck, you can't help but watch and read on.

Also saw the cross hanging from your rearview mirror, nice to see you're a believer too.

Most of us on this forum, myself included, feel proud when we find a part or mod we want on the internet sitting at our desk, buy it and then after it arrives via 2-day free prime shipping, then bolt it on our truck we are still making payments on.
You're out there at swap meets, rattlesnake round-ups and state fairs getting the parts you need to build your truck.
Any idiot with a credit card could build my truck but I assure you most of us on here couldn't do what you're doing with your build. I know there are plenty on here who can and do but the majority definitely cannot.

You apply the tenacity you're using for your truck to your family and career and you will be one of the most successful people in the state of AZ. And by "successful" I don't mean money.
All the best for the remainder of your build.

I thought about making it look like an old moonsiner truck with a bussines name on the side but I decided not to do that.

Thanks a lot for those words that means a lot.
The cross was given to me by an exgirlfriend whom only broke up as she was moving out of the country.

I still have a very long ways to go before I finish it the way I want but overall I believe the truck has improved a lot.
Plus being that my family has so many vehicles I have so many different ways to customize things.

Unfortunetly some of the parts I had to get weren't from places like swap meets and such but all those are parts I feel all the more happy to have put in new.

I'm going to assume you probably don't live in the southeast. If you were to take a ride on Interstate 85 through South Carolina, you'd see all kinds of moonshine signs for sale and they sell it in the liquor stores along with everything else.

I think it would be a cool design if put together the right way.

I have been driving her for 3 days now and although she needs a little more work to get her to tip top shape she has been doing great.

Only issues I have right now are:
CEL comes on after a while of driving her but once cooled down and started back up it will be off.
I think the O2 sensor is bad or going.
steering is a little sloppy but that might be the power steering pump
idles at 850 but not sure if that is normal with this cam
definatly needs new shock absorbers or some weight in the bed as my rear will break loose extremely easily and it starts to go sideways on the backroads I wouldn't mind this as much if it didn't do it on a turn that goes into a huge ditch.

Already had 2 people almost run into my truck not sure why the idiots are out when I am driving my truck and not the envoy.

For about a week now truck has been leaving me stranded.

So far replaced:
02 sensor
fuel filter
ignition coil
fuel pump on rail
fixed some wiring
ignition switch
tried a different relay for both eec and fuel pump
tried a different computer and went back to original no difference
set timing at 12* BTDC
tested the TFI module and it tested good but still kinda wondering

Pulled codes only codes are for emissions stuff and TPS
Got a new TPS, fuel pressure regulator, plug wires, and bought a fuel pressure gauge.

I can drive for a while then all of a sudden it will spit and sputter sometimes backfire then die and I can't get it started till it cools down then it will run and drive great again.

On a side note the beat up old bumper is now off and I put on a different one. Only took 2 1/2 hours to do.

Been having a co-worker/buddy help we with ideas on what could be wrong but right when it seems like it is getting better it goes again.

What about your distributor? Did you replace that?

No not yet. What in the distributor could be causing it?
I won't be able to work on the truck till Monday to get some new parts on.
Luckily I don't have to be in such a huge hurry because I picked up a car that I can drive to work everyday a 2014 Spark it ain't much but at least I don't have to pay for repairs and it costs me $27 to fill it up.

The PIP on the inside of it could be going bad. The symptoms you describe point towards that along with the parts you've replaced.
