Default wheel bearing gone

I resently noticed a vibration and I'm pretty sure its the wheel bearing. There is play in the driver side wheel now. Is it safe to drive for a while?

It depends on how bad it is. Better safe than sorry. Wheel bearings are cheap, about $15 each. You should change them out, or risk having a wheel fly off at speed causing more damage to the truck and possibly hurting or killing someone. How would that make you feel?

I agree with Sean. If it's already to the point where you can see and feel the effects - it's time to get 'er fixed now.

Replace it ASAP - a wheel may also just suddenly stop spinning at any speed. That's not funny, too.

Yeah no crap...replace that thing ASAP. I had one go out on me. It was during the winter and i thought a chunk of ice fell off my truck. Happened again like a week later. I need a whole new rotor, spindle, damn near everything....its not cool.
