Default Just bought a 92 flairside, some questions on my plans for it

whats going on everyone. Im new here from NJ, just picked up a beautiful 92 flairside. Its got a 5.0 in it, all stock, and a 5 speed. It needs some work mechanically but the interior exterior is beautiful.

My plans for the truck is as follows,

5.0 needs an oil pan
clutch
do a SD to MAF swap
install a 351
H/C/I (maybe 165s or TW170s, but probably gt40s for reliability reasons)
headers/exhaust
rebuild trans, kinda notchy.

Im very experienced in the 5.0 realm. ive been in the mustang world for 10 years and have had many foxbodies, from 85-93, a few tbirds, a few supercoupes from stock power levels to 900hp, but this is my first truck.
my questions are as follows-

ive done a little research into the SD to MAF swaps, but have found incorrect info all over the place. Would I be able to use my existing harness, use a a9l, a9p ETC. and run the maf wires? I see the truck only has one HEGO and its going to need another, would I just be able to run that as well instead of trying to source the whole harness? ive done the conversion dozens of times on foxbodies and it is simple.

I have 4 351s as of right now sitting around, I have a couple of 5.8 efi intakes as well, im seeing that there is a difference between the SD and MAF intakes? what exactly is the difference? I know for the swap that the 351 is an inch wider and a bit taller than the 5.0 and the exhaust will have to be extended/split to fit, and the imbalance difference between the motors, but what about all the accessories? I know that the bolt patterns are the same but I have never done a 351 swap so im not too certain on it.

I don't want a rocket ship as I already have an insanely fast car. I want something rocksolid reliable that I can take anywhere.
the rest I have under control, those were really my only questions, thanks in advance for any help you can give me.

With regards to the MAF conversion, do you plan to get it tuned? If so, you could probably grab an automatic MAF ECM off a truck so that you'll only need one O2 sensor versus plumbing in a new sensor for the Mustang ECMs. That'll help on costs down the line when it's time to replace it.

The MAF conversion on the trucks are pretty much the same as the Mustang with regards to using the existing harness with the MAF harness overlay and possibly moving a few wires around in the ECM connector.

As far as I know, there is no difference with the 5.8 intake with regards to SD vs MAF. The only 5.8 trucks that came with MAF are the 96s and 97 F250s. There might be some Cali 5.8L trucks that came with MAF prior to '96.

What cam are you looking to go with?

The exhaust manifolds and Y pipe are different on the 5.8 vs the 5.0.

There's an online article somewhere called 'Big Ugly Work Truck' that might give you some insight on the MAF conversion.

The S/D harness may be a problem re injector feed wires. Check the wiring diagram for that.
