Default the "what have you done to your truck today" thread...

yup i figured id start this one up...sick of nobody ever posting any good news on this forum all bad news...soooooooo lets hear some good stuff

today, i bought a b&m t handle shift knob... even though it was the "thread on" kind, i bought it anyway and i figured id make it work...

i took it down to my shop, measured the shaft itself, drilled out the threads to the size of the shaft + 3 thousandths..

then i drilled a small hole in the side, tapped it, and put a set screw in there.

looks and feels awesome.

then i got ambitious and pulled the shift knob and the shift boot, sanded the shifter shaft and re painted it now im waiting for it to dry so i can reinstall the boot and knob tomorrow...

gonna do some universal joints to the ol girl tomorrow too...

WHAT DID YOU GUYS DO TO YOUR TRUCKS TODAY?!??!

Seriously imangine your truck as Stock and 4x2 and no lift and a 20 year old paint job and we would have exactly the same truck. And what did i do i added a horn as i found out one of the OEM horns didnt work.
