Seafoam, add some Lucas oil stabilizer and a fresh coolant, oil, replace all her fluids. My truck ran better after replacing all fluids, cleaned plugs and all wire connections, seafoam, and a good run at 75 after all this.

She's got fresh oil, fresh gear oil in the front diff and rear, fresh trans fluid, coolant? Uhh, the radiator was replaced maybe 15,000k ago probably had a coolant flush. But sure I could try some seafoam. Not sold on anything that adds on to my oil just quite yet. I'm a tradditional fluid type of guy. Ie. Put what was meant in where it was meant to go. Not putting down any specific add on products, I just don't see a ton of difference it could make.

I add it to mine right before a change when I foam it. I've also ran marvel mystery oil in it. Cleaned it up real good.

New upgrade, larger radiator.

Any radiator without a huge hole in it is an upgrade. Mine's on the right. It's also got a type of vent that purges air from the system. The shroud is different too, mine on the right:

I was going to get tires, but I had to make the truck driveable before those would be useful. That one is the spare, not that the others are any better.

He really likes to hot-rod his truck. Those are his racing slicks.

Sean what kind of options does your truck have, to have the slim radiator?

It's a base model '87, not a single option.
