It took me about 5 minutes to put the cover back on and replace the vacuum lines, control cable and replug the other cables and put the glove box back in until I get the new heater core bought. When that sucker blew out, I immediately thought about my old S10 Blazer and the 12 hours it took to get the heater core out. I could not believe just how simple this went. Soon as pay day gets here I'll be buying a new heater core and reinstalling it. This also gave me a chance to clean out the glove box. Found $3 in cash and another $2 in change, 2 screw drivers that I'd been missing and a knife that I lost 6 months ago. Hell yeah baby!
Tends to happen when ya clean up

Took the black trim on the dash off and decided to 3m wrap it since I have a good bit of that stuff laying around. It was a fast job, we'll see if it stays

tried to get the XLT to show at angles but not sure if I like that part.

Installed my 5 inch leveling kit

Consisted of the 4x4 axle along with a supposed 3 inch level kit on top of that. I now have less then a 1/4" of rake but it's time for bigger tires.

Brought my 31's in to the shop to check the balance and the kid that did them last year was off by at least 2.5Oz on each tire.... I balanced them myself and then put them on when I got off work and they're rolling nice and smooth now. I just thought it was the aggressive tread, but they were out of balance. Now she looks like she should.

Before I put them on, I polished the rims, but they have so many pits in them it didn't help. So on Wednesday, I will be going around to get some quotes on some new rims.

Should I need more offset or less to fit my 31's without rubbing? The big lugs like to make a loud rumble when the lugs start hitting the radius arms.

The leveling kit was on the other truck when I took the axle out but yes the one side is out a little bit, and it pulls to the left so hopefully soon I'll get it checked out.

Just buy the bushings and put them in then take it for an alignment
