Replaced IAC motor and gasket. Pretty fouled! Then ran my new code reader and got 118 and 122. TPS voltage and coolant sensor. I figure replace the TPS, but I just replaced coolant sensor like 2 months ago. 😳😳😳

Oh that's a good feeling. I remember when I learned how to do that.

I spent the day getting ready for new plugs , plug wires , coil tomorrow. Its a 1982 f-150 with a 302 v8 95,000 miles. It failed emmissions 2 years ago after i bought it and i used my veteran's exemption to get it ready for July this year. It failed being too rich with the fuel. I dialed in the carb getting 15 lbs of vacuum. It should pass. 1 gallon of denatured alchol and 5 gallons of gas helps also lol.

1995 SC 302 2WD Auto

Over the last couple of weeks -

Tuneup (new plugs, wires, dist cap, rotor)
Fixed vacuum line and replaced check valve
New TPS
Front brakes
Charged A/C
New striker collars on the doors
Replaced door panel clips

Now I have a truck that actually drops a gear to pass and doesn't send the vent to defrost. I never realized what a big deal that would be! Nice to have working A/C again, too! Been hot here the last few days, so great to have!

This may have been how it drove when it was new

Hope to have it off to paint the hood and roof in the next couple of weeks.

Default Rear main seal install with PVC "driver"...

I thought a metal hammer would break the PVC but next time I'm risking it - seemed to take forever with the mallet...

Got my windows tinted with a heatshield tint - my A/C compressor will thank me.
