What did you do to your truck today?
Changed the transmission fluid and filter (E4OD). Cleaned up the pan and painted it black, since it was starting to look a little rough. Drained the torque converter, as well. The tc has been slipping a little lately, and throwing a code. I expected to see some burnt fluid and a bunch of scrap metal in the pan, but it looked clean. Just the smallest amount of metal stuck to the magnet. I'm hoping that's a good sign. Maybe the new filter will fix it.
I also plan on putting some new front brake hoses on this week, and maybe new drums (or have them turned).
Update: Drove it around a bunch today and no sign of shutter/slipping from the torque converter.

Installed new spindle bearings, inner and outer wheel bearings and all related seals an races. New pads and rotors too. Installed rear air bag helpers. Changed oil and fuel filter. Maybe next weekend it will be new piviot arm bushings up front, radius arm bushings, sway bar bushings front and rear, shocks, moog cc844 springs, and the adjustable camber/caster bushings and align. Or I may go to the lake and enjoy some down time, not sure yet haha! I also just realized I didn't take any pics of installed air bags, will get some up in a minuet.

Installed a rear view mirror (it feels weird driving with one now) and installed a new hub assembly to replace one that had shredded. Nice to have real 4x4 again.
Not all today, but all within the last few weeks anyways. New rear shocks, rear sway bar endlinks, upper and lower radiator hoses, oil change, coolant, topped off the trans (it leaks so its self changing!) and fuel filter. Then it was ready for a 1200 mile move from New Hampshire down to Florida! Towing a uhaul trailer she did great! But...rear fuel pump started acting up once i got here. So that was today. New rear pump, new tank straps. Really wish i had just gone ahead and got a new sending unit while i was there but funds are kinda short at the moment, and it looks ok, so that'll have to wait.
Next up is to re-install the A/C i removed back in high school. Headed to the junkyard to see what i can find.
