Finally removed the rusted bolts on my Flaresides new chrome step bumper so I can install it...only to find out my truck does not have the bracket required to attach it, so now I need to weld one together.

Had the switch to my under-bed reverse lamps just sitting on the floor going to a wire because I had no access to a dremel, got one yesterday and made a hole on my dash for the switch

Going to get a different style switch soon, this one is all I had laying around.

Well, Recently I thought about replacing my 1990 I6 5-speed w/321,000 miles on her. Went down to the local Ford dealer to look at new regular cab work truck and found that they start at around $26,000.

Thought about a used truck, but thought do I really want someone else's problem. So, for better or worse, I decided to put some money into my truck. Over the last couple months, I replaced the following:

Rebuilt transmission (bad bearing), new clutch, slave/master cylinder, u joints, front/back differential seals, actually a new differential cover (rusted) - $1,500.00

New EGR (solved bucking and CEL) - $400.00

New RABS, rotors/pads, shoes/drums, brake lines - $500.00

Exhaust system - $200.00

Headlight assemblies - $200.00

Fortunately, tires are still good, and the old 4.9l doesn't burn any oil (timing gears do clack tho).

So for around $3,000.00 the old truck runs great (and stops). Hoping for another 5 years out of her.

Neighbor just got a wrecked 9th Gen F150 4x4, he's only using it to pull the 4x4 components and scrapping the rest, so he let me take the cab lights and Lund visor for free, going to install them soon, but I just saved $200 easily
