Default water pump leak

hey guys, I have a leak that looks like its coming out of a small hole on the water pump ?? any ideas on this. do i just need to replace the pump, or maybe fill the hole ?? thanks in advance

u can drive steel rods in it to hold it for a bit but the the best thing is to go put a new one on all of a bout 100 dollars for it. cheaper than having it blow up on u and u having to put a new engine in

Plugging the hole is a very temporary fix. Coolant leaking from the hole is letting you know the water pump seal has gone bad and you need to replace the pump. The leak will only get worse, so the sooner the better.
