Water pump bolts 88 302
Can someone post a picture or diagram of the bolts that go through the water pump/ timing chain cover for a 88 with a 302
Any fuel injected with a serp belt and windsor blok should be the same
I just looked at a 93 and it appeared to be the same
Thanks guys

I have a 89 timing cover on my 92 302 so all look at the bolt pattern and I can try to get a good picture for you. I don't know if my chilton has one for the 88. Do you just need it because you mixed up the bolt's or... ?

Can we just go with "or..."
Many of the bolts were not salvageable due to rust and by the time I found replacements it had been a while and I am not getting any younger so...... what were we talking about?

When I did my water pump, timing cover, timing chain etc... I needed to get about 3 replacment bolts. I went to my local Oreilly auto parts and they had like a one size fits all bolt kit for the 302 waterpump. It was like this, http://www.superiormustangparts.com/...d=WPB-D0OE-306 .
It wasn't $25.00 bucks, I would say I spent $7.00 total I think. I have a 88-89 timing cover on my 92 302 and it worked fine so the bolt kit must be universal. Do you have a Orilleys around you or by you? Otherwise ebay or google should get you started. I have all data and it show's no diagram for the bolt pattern and now when I look on google I don't find much for "302 waterpump bolt layout" or "5.0 waterpump bolts". Is this your daily driver or a project?
Sorry if im not much help, if you can't find the bolt kit cheaper I could maybe buy it and just have you cover postage and the overall price and I could ship you the reciete and bolt kit. That would be last chance if your not having any luck! The bolts only fit in a certain way because there are 2-3 I think that have a nut half way out on the end.
