What mufflers do you recommend for a 4.9? I don't want anything too quiet, but I do need to get away from the droning and I need something on there. I also want to go back to 3 inch toward the end. I miss the lower tone.

About 3 times as loud and very tractory sounding. I like the sound it just drones really bad and it's deafening. And it took about 4-5 hours. Should have been a lot less time but I had to run around to part stores: buy your studs first and make sure you have a saws all handy as the stock down pipe/cat won't fit out (if cut behind the AIR tube anyway.)

Has anybody else who's replaced the cat with a y pipe reattached the AIR tube? If so is there a way without welding? Do they make a band clamp with an inlet or bung or something? I know they make band clamps with an o2 sensor bung. Anyone doing exhaust work may find this handy: http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B003IS...&robot_redir=1

Is there anything to hook it back up to the exhaust pipe without welding? I have no cat to reconnect it to but I don't want to delete the whole system incase I add a cat in the future.

The walker kit above uses high heat hoses and clamps along with the metal tube. No welding is required.
