Default Reviving a Sitter

Hey guys, new member here. My dad has finally broken down and said "if you drag it out of here, you can have it." We're talking about an '88 XLT 4X4 that's been sitting since 2005 or so. Natually, it's one of those "ran when parked" type situaions, to which my dad couldn't remember why he ever parked it in the first place. His best guess was "too many vehicles at the time." Given that it actually DID run when parked, what would be the first steps in breathing life back into the old girl? I have ideas on what to do first, but thought I'd get input from those who really love these trucks (you guys.)

Bad picture, due to being taken at night, but the body and paint are pretty decent.
