upgrading my 95 5.0 EFI with an 87 5.8
Like the title says, I've got a 95 F150 5.0 EFI with Mass Air. It's got 350k on it and I think its time I turned her into a race car. I found an 87 F150 with a 5.8L HO 4V in it. I'm gonna stroke it to a 387, put better heads on it, and hook it up to either a C6 OR T5.
I'm keeping the 5.8 carbureted, and I don't know what I need so that it'll work correctly in my truck. Not doing a mechanical pump. I plan on replacing all of the fuel lines, and setting the rear tank up as a fuel cell.
Right away she'll get a wet kit, probably 200 shot. Then down the line, I plan on doing some forced induction. Ive got an s-trim vortech supercharger that I was thinking about putting on it, but I'd need to mount it somewhere that it'd clear the stock hood. If I can't do that she's getting twins, and ill run the piping through the bed.
