Default Turn Signals

Great Truck...Great Forum.
I have a question...
My turn signals suddenly quit working. They were fine on the way in to work one morning and wouldn't work on the way home and haven't worked since.
The fuse is fine and I replace the flasher unit just because it was a cheap thing to do. No difference. None of the lights light up, 4 way flashers work fine and the brake lights work fine.
Any ideas? Does the switch on the steering column suddenly quit?
This is a 1996 standard cab, long bed, 5 liter, 120,000 miles.
Everything else about the truck is fantastic.
Thanks,

Have you double checked the fuse?

Take an air compressor nozzle and while pushing the 4 way button repeatedly, blow the crap out from around the button. That has worked on at least 3 F-150's and a Ranger that I know of.

1 - Yes, I double checked the fuse. Actually, I switched fuses with another 15 amp circuit.

2 - I like that idea with the compressor blast at the 4 way switch. I'll try it this weekend and let you know. Thank you.

Default turn signals

Just reporting back that the blast with the air at the 4 way switch
did the trick. The turn signals are working fine again.
Thank you very much!
