Question Turn Signal Beeper?

'87 F150. My turn signals so quite, I end up sometimes driving down the road with the turn signal on for miles (I HATE THIS)!

Does someone sell an interior beeper that will alert the driver that his blinker is still on?
Im OLD, but not That old!

I think TY has the answer. The little blinker module that has the little relay in it. Some of the newer plastic ones are very quiet. Maybe you can replace it with one of those round metal ones that will make the familiar blinker sound. Just find one heavy duty enough for your needs (trailer lights, etc.)

I woul djust go to a dealership and find one you like, lol

then go get that flasher.

the one in f450 I drive at work sounds more like a snapple bottle cap clicked loudly.

but I have no idea if it will just "plug" in, anyone know?

On some of the newer vehicles the "flasher" is built into the switch or its a control module. Yes you can walk into a parts house and ask for a HD flasher for a 87 F150.

Ive always found that the taller round metal ones make a nice "tink, tink" sound that is fairly audible. Location could also be a problem. Where is it located on an 87? Maybe you can extend the wiring to put it up in the dash somewhere that you will be sure to hear it. If you can secure it to the inside of some dash panel so that it makes physical contact with it that might also make it louder.

I really don't know.. Carbuff has a good idea if its that annoying move it closer. That will take some work, because I think its in the fuse panel or near it.
