Default truck stalls in reverse

im having a small problem right now, sometimes when in reverse the truck seems to bog down a bit and stalls out but starts right back up, it only has done it to me in reverse, it seems like maybe when under a slight load from backing up slowly or uphill, but when in drive everything works great, no hesitations either

now its done this to me a few times in my driveway, once at the car wash the other day, and again at school today, now i do believe it has a slight miss, but i plan on new distributer cap and rotor, already have new plugs and wires, could this have something to do with it?

Try to clean the air bypass and throttle body, when I bought my truck it stalled, cleaned the above, adjusted idle, and its fine now.

Fod for thought....a bad torque converter will cause the truck to die when shifting into reverse. We see this allt on our fleet or E-350 and E-450 ambulances. Sure sign.

Did anyone ever figure this out? I know it is not the torque converter as that was changed within the last year and the problem occurred before that. In addition I have just had the oil changed, and new spark plugs put in hoping that would solve it. Truck runs perfectly fine other than sometimes stalling in reverse.

I had the same problem with my 11 f150 and i didn’t fix it and it last me like 10 months (engine when bad ) , mechanic said that torque converter was the problem and it caused the engine damage
