lol ok sorry i guess im just slow or stupid or somthin.. but what is the "ICM"... the Ignition Control Module? where is it and how can i test it? ...actually i think my haynes manual tells me how to do that doesnt it? .. well my dad has the same year/engine that i have can i take his off easily and stick it on mine to make sure thats what i need?

i did already.. it doesnt say anything about ICM.. if it does i missed it. and on TFI all it says is like 2 letters. ill just take it off and take it to the parts store because i get home from school today and it started right up.

is it even gonna do any good to get it tested when the truck is startin just fine?

might aswell get it tested to rule that out. but it sounds more like a lose wire or something to me lol.

all it did was sit though.. and if its working right now, if they test it, even if it is faulty and only works somtimes, then its just gonna show up as fine when they test it too isnt it?

i have no idea man, wish i could help more. it could be your ignition or the ECU.

yea, i my truck had a little problem kinda like that a while ago, id turn the key and it would hesitate to start. it kinda just went away thought. haven't had the problem in a month+
