Truck fell off jack
Okay guys need y'all's expertise. I was putting different tires on my truck so I had the rear axle on wooden blocks and the front right suspended with the jack. I went to put one of the tires on the rear on and pushed a little to hard and the truck fell slamming onto the ground. I checked everything, rear brake drums, and the passenger side rotor and they seemed to be fine. Is there anything I should be looking for that isn't in plain sight? What other damage could have been done? Thanks in advance fellas.

pretty sure it should be fine. just try starting it and see if it sounds ok and maybe have someone drive it really slow so you can listen for anything that doesn't sound right if you are concerned

Thanks guys but unfortunately my truck has been doing the shimmy every time I hit a bump. Very violent and the only way to get it to stop is by coming to a stop and trying again. Was my truck knocked out of alignment? What needs repair?

Normally a shimmy is the result of loose bushings in the front end; tie rods, ball joints, control arms.
Bad shocks will allow a shimmy to just get much worse after it starts.
Alignment does not normally make it shimmy.

you need to look into a decent set of jack stands... you could of hurt or even killed yourself buddy ...

Techrep makes a good point.
Falling off the jack would not make it shimmy. Unless you already had a problem and you made it worse.
Something in your front end is possibly close to letting go. That's not for sure - but it's a very strong possibility. If you don't know how to check your front end properly you should get it checked by a mechanic right away. Pay him to check it instead of a tow truck driver to pull you out of the ditch (if you're lucky).

Thanks everyone. Happy Thanksgiving! Yes the truck was acting this way before it fell but was not as sensitive. Before it was rare and now it's every time I hit any imperfection in the road. Let me give y'all some back story. Got truck stock from grandpa, got new 265/75R15 tires, 6" lift was put on, buddy had some 33" BFGs from a bronco he gave me, put on truck, started to shimmy rarely. At first I just thought "I need a stabilizer" and then it got worse...Truck fell off jack, shimmy got worse. No I have not driven the truck since this has started and don't intend to until it's fixed. Since it's thanksgiving I can't get it into a shop so maybe tomorrow. But according to the whole story what y'all think? Still shocks?
P.S: I do have all the safety equipment such as jack stands, wheel locks, and a prober heavy duty jack. I just wasn't able to get to them and said "I'll and it'll be fine". Lesson learned.
