I don't mind going with stud mounted rocker arms I'll just do some research on the adjustment. What rocker arms would you suggest for the trick flow heads in the link I provided? I'd like to go with 1.7's if possible.

Head Gasket Options:
Mr Gasket - 5807G (.038 thickness)
Fel-Pro - 9333PT1 (.047 thickness)

You didn't ask for this, but.....
Intake Manifold Gasket:
Ford Racing - M-9439-G50

Do NOT use Fel-Pro 1250. Do not pass go, do not collect $200. Use the Ford Racing gasket.

Thanks for those part #'s. I assume the intake gasket is because of the port size of the tfs heads?

Also I plan on porting my stock truck lower intake to match the port on the heads. Maybe gasket match them?

Port match the intake to Fel Pro 1250 (assuming you send it off to be ported). The Ford Racing intake gasket is the size of the TFS heads.

I thought about porting it myself. Not sure where I could bring it around here to be ported. Also why wouldn't I just port match the intake to the ford racing gasket?

You can port match it to the Ford Racing gasket. I was using 1250 as a reference in the event you decide to send it off to have it ported.

I believe the trick flow track heats have 3/8th inch rocker arm studs but have 1/2 inch head bolt holes, could I get them and get bushings for the 302 size head bolts?

Also I'm confused on which rocker arms will work with these heads. Any 3/8 or 7/16 stud mount rocker arms in a 1.6 or 1.7 ratio will fit, correct?

Ok, the heads I want to get are the track heats, part # TFS-51410010-M58.

Only problem I see with them is the rocker arm studs are 7/16", not 3/8". It doesn't list the head bolt hole size. But other than that I think these are the ones I want to go with. What do you think?

Then I can find out about the pushrods and rocker arms.

You can get reducer washers from ARP or Edelbrock to adapt it from 1/2" to 7/16".

Correct, any 3/8 or 7/16 stud will work whether it's 1.6 or 1.7.

The threads in the head are 7/16 across the board, so both 3/8 and 7/16 are both 7/16 where they screw into the head.
