Default Too high rpm while idling / coughing under load

All right, back here with new thread about old probs with `91 F150 302!
If you read my other threads you will get an idea of what I`m talking about!
Partly overhauled engine and other components, parts that came new: IAC, TPS Sensor ( dialed in at 0.941 V ), both fuel pumps, fuel filter, fuel pressure regulator, 8 injectors, MSD ignition coil, MSD distributor, 8mm spark plug wires, 8 spark plugs, timing chain, thermostat, water pump, oil pump and drive shaft, vacuum canister under air cleaner/radiator reservoir, fuel tank selector switch, I may forgotten some, but that`s basically the stuff around the probs...if not the ECU is shot.....
Before I started working on the Truck it revved a little higher than normal ( about 900 rpm, no sputtering, no holes while accelerating or idling )
besides its abnormal fuel drinking manners, so I decided to go the whole 9 yards w/o buying a crate engine and put some money and work into it.
After having finished work yesterday and connecting everything back together I fired the Truck up for warming up and getting water in the system..it started and immediately revved 3,000 rpm, I shut it off, since it was cold and parts are new, tried several times, all the same, didn`t do anything to the gas linkage!!!!
I then discovered that the throttle was too wide open, why ever, so I adjusted the gas linkage bracket on the upper intake so the throttle is all closed as far as it can go but it still was idling at about 1,100 rpm???!!!
All right, had it warmed up, everything fine, set the timing at 10° BTDC w/ the SPOUT connected, found out this is wrong so disconnected SPOUT, still 10° BTDC, but now engine stalled..., connected SPOUT, started engine-everything fine..., had to replace the radius arm bushings today so I didn`t go for a ride yesterday but today.
Fired her up today-revving 1,900 rpm, after short dropped to 1,400-1,500. but stayed there for the whole time we were out, performance was tested easy with the new parts, ok, after about 10 mls and a short stop it started sputtering under heavy load/acceleration roughly between 2,200-3,200 rpm, no backfiring just lack of power for the blink of an eye, sometimes earlier, sometimes at higher rpm, the longer I drove, the more often this occured, all right went back home, sat in the driveway and had it idling at those mentioned 1,400-1,500 rpm it started sputtering and rpm dropped and raised again at the blink of an eye, sometimes for only 200 rpm, then 300, went down to 400rpm!!, then back up only to drop another 500 and so on...
Revving that bastard up to 5,000 rpm didn`t do or show anything abnormal except the high idle.....
Scanned it several times: KOEO: 11 , KOER : 13 & 44, though 13 wasn`t explained , 11 means System Pass and 44 reads Thermactor Air System Failure, although this code 44 was off before I started working on it.
WTF IS WRONG WITH THIS &%__'`??))=??
Any help kindly and greatly appreciated..
TIA,

Ingo

Code 13 is can not control rpm during self test. That along with your themactor error says something is wrong with your idle system. I would suspect a vacuum leak such would also explain your power issue. Make sure all your lines are hooked up correctly and run a vacuum test. Make sure your throttle and and IAC move freely. Make sure the electrical connections are on clean and tight.

OK, cleared codes, started Truck, cold idle around 1,500rpm, drops down to roughly 1,200 after about 20-30 sec., when warm at about 1,100.
Sprayed engine with leak detector, checked electrical connectors and vac lines, couldn`t find anything, pulled several vac hoses, rpm went up sometimes more, some less.
Pulled electrical connector off IAC, rpm dropped to around 800 rpm-AHA, no sign of stalling or whatsoever, went for a ride with IAC connector off, everything seemed fine so far, but after about 2 mls Truck started getting issue with either fuel delivery probs or no spark, no matter if under coasting conditions, normal or hard acceleration in the same gear or revving it after a stop shifting through gears it has those really noticeable performance " holes" and rpm drops every now and then but is back immediately....but like I said, no backfiring or misfiring to hear and all those happens no matter if switched to front or rear tank, since I thought it could be the fuel pump.
Changed ignition coil to start searching and since it`s new it became a suspect, but same prob after these approx. 2 mls, will change distributor cap tonight, but don`t think that this is it, ordered a new IAC from Rockauto last night, hope this will cure it but not really convinced.
Any other ideas?? Please!!
Ya`ll have a nice one!

Ingo
