Default Did I pay too much??

Just picked up a '92 Custom today. She's a regular cab, 4WD, AOD, 4.9 I6, 8ft bed, standard cab, with a Leer Cap and bedliner. Truck has 143K, new 31x 10.50 Goodyear Wrangler's, rear wheel well rust, and has been re-painted (not crashed) it's original color. Has an oil leak coming from the front cover area (pan gasket or crank snout seal), and a nasty exhaust leak in the cat region. Other minor junk yard issues. Paid $800. Good deal?

Not bad...I have done similar deals in the past. From your language you know your way around the truck so you should have no troubles as you go piece by piece.

Yes, that is a good deal. It also helps to know what you have to work with as you start your repairs. I wish that I paid $800 for my '89 F150 (how about $2800).
