Default Torque converter!?

Ok so i have a f150 302 efi 1989 recently replaced my engine for a 302 efi 1995. I changed the torque converter seal because it was leaking but i mitgh not have placed the torque converter correctly people. Can i move it while engine is mounted to the trans or do i need to pull engine out again?

Why do you think it's not right ? Tranny and motor needs separated to engage pump properly.

Because when i engage the truck to drive the truck stalls and i got no fuel problem or vacuum or sensor. I dont think my friend put it back correctly.

Usually when installed wrong it will lock motor from even cranking over . I'd look at wiring because 95 and 89 are different as computers go .

Its hard to say if the converter is completely installed into pump or not. Ive seen the very same year trucks have clearance when converter was unbolted and then some that were tight clearance.

Does it stall if you start in N then shift to drive?

I know its a huge PITA to separate to check but may be your only option.
