Default Tire size options

I have a 1996 F150, it is 4x4 and lifted 2.5 inches. Right now if has 32x12.5x15 kenda klever tires on it. They are pretty worn down and after driving down to SC from NY the highway speeds put a nice egg in the tires. Between that and being worn, as well as some deep cuts I don't like from off-roading, I need some new shoes. I don't want the same Kendas, they lasted about 8k miles! I know mud tires don't last long but I am pretty sure that low even for mud tires. I would also like to go bigger. The tires rub on the radius arm when I turn to the knock as it is, but they are also 12.5 wide. I also have been wanting to put spacers on it, so this would be the perfect excuse! I want to go at least 33" tall, if I got 33s than 11.5" wide would be fine. Do you guys think I could go bigger? Like maybe 35s? I have had it flex pretty good and I think it would clear the body, though it would be close. I built custom bumpers for it so I wouldn't have to notch the front bumper if I got 35s. What do you guys have? Pretty basic stuff, like what size and tire, spacers, lift, and anything else that seems important.

I would like 35s but I feel like they are out of my budget. Can you guys recommend a good tire for me that isn't super pricey? I know... That's impossible with tires. I don't need an over aggressive tire, really AT is perfectly fine, I don't need MT while I am here in SC.

What drive train do you have. I feel like 35s would make any obs f150 a dog, and would strongly recommend a regear with them.

Top is 32/11.5/15s with 2in spacers.
Bottom stock with 31s. When I first got the truck.

35s will rub and when I put 36s on my truck I didn't notice much of a power loss. Had stock 3.55s

I may be wrong then. I just know I have driven a lot of lifted trucks with 35s and 37s (not my trucks though) and did not like how they performed.
