Is there an easy way to replace the A/C blend door actuator?

It seems that the diaphragm in my A/C blend door actuator has lost it's seal or dry rotted. Is there an easy way to get the old one off, and then put the new one on?
The top of the blend door is designed to keep the actuator arm in place. I'd rather not break it if I don't have to.
Here's what I'm talking about... http://i38.photobucket.com/albums/e1..._3426Small.jpg

Any suggestions?

1. Break the curved retainer plastic piece off the door lever.
2. Remove old vacuum actuator thing.
3. Thread the center plastic pin.
4. Install new vacuum actuator thing.
5. Put a nut onto the now threaded plastic pin, but not so far that it clamps the actuator arm which needs to move freely.
6. Done.
