Ok, OP, how long have the glass packs been on your truck? Me and a buddy put a 24 inch glass pack on his 4.3 Silverado probably 4 months ago, and that truck is still getting louder.

As to how to break it in, run your truck for awhile give it some gas and let it get warm, then dump ice cold water on it while its still hot, this will break up the fiberglass and make it louder

if you want to get your glasspacks louder pour gas in them and get going about 55-60mph then shut your truck off while your still going 55 and in gear. you will hear a bang. and your glasspacks will be burned out and as loud as they can get. trust me it works my dad did it on his.

Ok I've always put the glasspack close to the bhottest p?art of the exhaust to heat them so they break on there own or use a torck get them nice and hot and smac@k it with a hammer or use cold water I've gotten mine super hot and back down a boat ramp into thbe water before

I dont know who told you that but they are dead wrong, a glass pack is basically a straight pipe wrapped in fiberglass, so when the air flutes through it the fiberglass gives it a rumble, it does nothing to slow down the exhaust like a stock muffler would.

Really?????? you care to bet on that... I have YEARS of Dyno experience that proves otherwise...
the flutes cause Turbulance which aids in Reversion which impedes flow... even though you can see straight through it it IS more restrictive than a walker Turbo Muffler...
