Nope, still speed density. I don't need MAF for this setup so for now its still SD. Would be cool to do the the swap eventually though for the sequential injection.

Well guys I filled up my truck this morning and calculated my MPG. I'm running on the rear tank and mixed city/highway I got 13 MPG. This is with no overdrive (went out) and no o2 sensor (haven't got an extension wire yet) does this sound reasonable?

Until you get the O2 sensor it might be defaulting to run rich. Doesn't sound too of the mark though.

I think that is about what my 88 got before the engine went. Granted I have a C6 so not having OD is typical.

I think I can get maybe 15 or so with od but idk that's just a guess. I'll see what happens with the new o2 sensor

On the 90 F150 I think we are getting about 17 mpg and as far as I know everything is working minus it does have an exhaust leak at the muffler (haven't fixed it) but I don't think I am going to get any better then that on it that's part of why I haven't fixed it.

I'm not complaining at 13 MPG. Could be worse lol

Does anyone know what a rebuild for a tranny runs? There is a transmission shop local but I haven't called for a quote yet. My trans shifts great but it sucks not having od. Plus I'd like to swap to 4.10's in the rear but there's no way right now lol.

Might look for a used transmission to put in there for now then save up for a proper rebuild of yours. That way you'll have time to do it right rather than a "hurry up, I need it back to drive" rebuild.

13 with no OD is actually pretty great if your running highway. Get the O2 and tranny fixed along with the e-fan, I wouldn't be surprised if you got 17mpg out of it.

Are you sure it's the tranny or the switch? If she's shifting good..........????
